June 1st brought the first official day of the 2020 season on Crowley Lake. With a postponed opener it was without surprise that we still saw a good amount of traffic on the lake. After a few weeks on the water things are starting to settle as far as the crowds go.

Despite the busy water, fishing has been very consistent.

We have been targeting fish in 16'-22' of water. Fly selection has revolved around all the usual suspects. This last week we have seen consistent action using Blood Midges early in the morning and moving to your standard grey & black as the hatch progresses. Depth and location are always the main factors when getting on the bite. You can expect to see strong hatches as the morning progresses and you feel the temperature change. Bookings are available and I look forward to a fun season in the Eastern Sierra. Get in touch with any questions. Thanks for the support.
